Matt, since you are a former Best Buy employee, it's nice to see you showing some love to the company you used to hate so much.

Why should I pay to recycle something I can throw away for free?

You do get a $10 gift card. Say you were going to buy something at Best Buy anyway, why not bring in that old monitor.

I don't know why is so hard for people to think about recycling!! Those who have children should think about the kind of world they are leaving behind for them. We all hope that would be a strong reason why they need to start now.
And besides the idea of recycling, I would never buy anything at best buy!

Or I could shoot my old computer (I did and it made me feel SOOO good), and then go to Circuit City for the rediculous going-out-of-business deals they're having right now.

I too have shot an old computer of mine, and it was fantastic. I must have put two dozen 9MM bullets into that CPU. Awesome.

I too would never buy anything at Best Buy. They have the worst return/exchange policies ever. Horrible.

Glad to see that they are stepping up and providing incentives for people to recycle.
