More Gloom and Doom

Check out this article recently posted on FoxNews.com. I sure wish I could find something a bit more cheerful to post, but this is worth reading.

I don't know what's more disturbing, that article or the fact that Pat reads Fox News. Talk about a news outlet w/ zero credibility: THEY HAVE KARL ROVE AS AN ANALYST!!! Fair & unbiased my arse. Other news outlets aren't much better, but Fox News is god awful.

Anyways, it doesn't shock me to see disorganization with the rapid growth these U.N. programs are experiencing. It happens in government, it happens in business. Good planning doesn't seem to be valued in many organizations worldwide. The typical approach is "Ready, fire, aim." Just for comparison, Lean companies like Toyota have a different approach: "Ready, aim, aim some more, fire."

I know many groups want immediate action on the environmental front, but some planning needs to be done or we're going to shoot our load and miss the target.

Well, at least you didn't defend any news outlets in your bashing of Fox. I grant you they are pretty biased, but I can't seem to find one that isn't. CNN is just as bad, but from the other direction. And that "ready, fire, aim" scenario seems to be a very good description of the economic recovery plan we are implementing. It seems no one ever really learns from history's mistakes. All the same, I would have liked to have seen a model of the Republican's plan to fix things rather than an edited version of what was signed so we the people could compare our options rather than have one idea rammed down our throats. Where's the original thought here? Our political parties need to change their names to The Socialists and The Whatevertheysaidwaswrongists.
