Good stuff. On the Entrepreneur.com article, I like the article but I hope green does not just become some marketing ploy. We need a trusted and non biased organization to certify businesses as green, like those that exist for organic products. This way those business that really are green will get the benefits, not the posers.
Fortunately, the blogosphere has the potential to act as a pseudo-regulatory agency. Bloggers don't have official authority, but they're really good at spreading the word-of-mouth. I don't think companies or politicians will be able to get away with their shenanigans the way they used to when big media was looking the other way. Just look at how the McCain campaign was plagued by bloggers every time they tried to put out misleading information.
